Product Description

Details

This is  a waypoint E3026-10 Brushless Outrunner motor. Waypoint motors represent another leap forward in powerful yet affordable brushless motors for rc aircraft.From front to back they have been engineered to suit your needs.The retainer on the front side of the motor shaft is not only more secure than the traditional circlip but also allows for effortless change from front to back mounting.The short section of shaft at the rear of the motor takes a variety of standard 5mm collet adapters and spinners. you will also find that the double sets of M3 mounting holes fits the mounts on many ARF models no extra drilling or modifying here.

The main motor copmponents are made from CNC machined aluminium alloy and the rotor housing from highly quality steel for the highest magnetic efficiency. Featuring fully rounded magnets with high temperature ratings ensure that the motors stay cool and relaible and for extra insurance against overheating the vector cooling system pulls a steady stream of cool air through the motor. this not only prevents damage but increases efficiency and therefore the power it delivers during the flight.

Specifications
* Body Length: 44.0mm
* Weight: 190g
* KV: 1039
* Max Continous Current: 48amps

Manufacturers recommended props
* APC-E 14 X 7 2S LiPo 37.7amps
* APC-E 15 X 8 2S LiPo 46.9amps
* APC-E 11 X 5.5 3S LiPo 37.2amps
* APC-E 12 X 6 3S LiPo 49.6amps

The above performance figures are provided as a guide only. The actual performance of the motor may be degraded by incorrect timing of the ESC, battery quality, temperature, unbalanced propellor, poor installation, poor wiring and electrical integrity and also inadequate cooling airflow over the ESC heatsink.

Setting up:
*Brushless motors do not need to be ‘run in’. Do not run any motor on ‘bench test’ for longer than 20 seconds. The motor and ESC may get excessively hot causing damage to the power train components.

* We recommend using a WATT METER to check a new system to ensure that the manufacturer's recommended specifications are not exceeded.

* YOU MUST confirm that the ESC program settings - especially the timing, are correct before running the motor.

* During the watt meter test, if the maximum current (Amps) is close to, or has reached, the maximum current for the motor before you have reached the full (open) throttle position DO NOT continue with the test. You should reduce the diameter and / or pitch of the propellor and retest

Warnings:
* Exceeding the motor specifications will damage the motor and / or ESC and battery. It is important that these components are set up properly. Failure to do so will void the warranty.

* We are unable to uphold the manufacturer's warranty if for any reason the motor has been modified, or used outside of the manufacturer's specification
